RADAR Keys - Instant access to disabled toilets
The RADAR Disabled Toilet Key allows you to use locked disabled toilets, without having to wait around or suffer the indignity of having to ask someone if you can use the toilet. It fits the Wellington lock used by the National Key Scheme, granting access to over 9000 disabled toilets nationwide.
Find RADAR key toilet locations near you by using the Great British Public Toilet Map. Simply go to the filter on the left-hand side of the homepage and filter by ‘Radar key’.
Who is eligible?
Anyone with a disability or their carer can obtain a key by providing proof of eligibility (e.g. Blue Parking Badge, Disability Living Allowance or Personal Independence Payment with mobility component, Attendance Allowance).
There are two different sizes of key and they both cost £4.50.
They both open the toilet but the difference is one has a larger turning handle for people who have dexterity problems.
